The salesmen and sales-women are ALWAYS nice. With that being said, the process of delivering the products is a hassle, and I felt that Gavigans didn't stand behind their service. Again, the people are nice.. Just feel like many furniture stores don't stand behind their products or services.. Kind of just HOPE that everything goes well.
Two out of the three times visiting we left due to rude saleswoman. Today went shopping for a recliner. Did not receive a greeting when entering nor any help while in the store. There were more sales reps then customers so being busy certainly wasn’t the reason. The only time we saw a rep was when a saleswoman stood between us and the recliner we were looking at to hold a conversation with another customer. It was very rude so we left. As before, when we were looking for a bedroom set, we made our purchase at Gardners. We love shopping at Gavigans in Dundalk but will never go to this store again.
Great knowledgeable service and excellent selection of furniture and wide selection of fabrics. Two furniture lines come with a couple of hundred fabrics and style choices, including compact to large peices. Protection plans available which cover everything. Sale prices are excellent, retail pricing is on the high end though for cutomizable peices and a mid to lower priced selection is offered.
We were so very lucky to be greeted by Debbie. We came in for living room furniture. She shared her design talents and honesty with product choices. She listened and guided us to selections best suited to us. So when we needed additional items we RETURNED to Gavigans and asked for her again! Thank you Debbie!
Very easy and seamless experience. Laurie was very helpful in our decision to purchase living room furniture. Hoping that the furniture that we will receive in he next few months will be worth the wait.
