My husband ordered a subscription for me a couple of years ago for 6 issues. Each issue was supposed to be published every other month equating to a year subscription. In a year's time I only received ONE issue. I contacted them directly twice only to hear that they were behind schedule; this fact was pretty obvious to me since I hadn't received more than one issue. I canceled my subscription and I did receive a refund.
I'll just wait until the magazines are published, order each one individually, and not through Cemetery Dance directly if I can get them through Amazon or another source. They do not seem like the typical magazine with definite time schedules and publication demands. They use the excuse of having a book line take up more of their time. Here's a suggestion - hire more people to do the work so you don't disappoint your customers.
Now (Oct 2012), looking into them again I'm hearing from them that they are now on schedule, but if I order 6 issues I will "eventually" get all six. There's just no guarantee of when I will get them. They don't seem to have improved their publication efforts since Nov 2010 when my husband first ordered from them.
